This Sunday, June 11, Unity Pflugerville is hosting a brunch for our community to get to know each other. We have been doing this on the first Sunday of each month for the past 3 months. This month, we are holding our celebration Sunday brunch on the 2nd Sunday of the month so chef Kathleen can be with us and provide her wonderful food buffet.
We are a beacon of light and love as we travel a spiritual path back to the Father’s house. The best way to get to know each other is sharing space, time and food with each other in a sit-down meal at our Sunday event and forgo the usual formal church service and message.
We ask you to enjoy the food, enjoy the time just being with each other and share an open dialogue with another member of your spiritual community.
By the way, since we are all children of the same Universal Source that we call God, we are all in spiritual community together and no matter who you are or where you come from, you are in our spiritual community.
In our Celebration Sunday service, we do open up with prayer, a song and then announcements but we do not pass the offering basket and I promise not to do a boring message (really, no message at all). All we ask is to be in community, enjoy the good food and enjoy being in dialogue with another seeker on the path looking for love.
