Every 3 seconds someone needs blood. Whether it’s a bone marrow transplant, burn victim, anemic patient, cancer, transplant and trauma patients, patients undergoing open-heart surgery, or sickle cell disease; there is no substitute for human blood.

 

Please consider joining Unity Center in support of the 4.5 million Americans who need life saving transfusions of blood. The Blood Center of Central Texas will have their bloodmobile in our parking lot on Sunday, May 23^rd, from 8:00 – 12:00. 

 

As part of our sacred service to the community, Unity Center would like to schedule a minimum of 34 blood donors. Eligible donors must be older than 17 years old, weigh at least 110 pounds, be in good health, have a photo ID and know their Social Security number.
