The Kingdom is at hand. Repent and believe in The Truth.

The title for this article comes from Mark 1:15 and is the words by Jesus that introduces the beginning of Jesus’ ministry in Galilee. In the story shared by Mark, John the Baptist had just been put in prison and Jesus showed up in Galilee, preaching the gospel of the Kingdom of God.

The book of Mark shares many of the miracles of Jesus during His travels in Galilee and a lot of the details of His daily life. This recording of the words of Jesus helps us zero in on the personal message that Jesus was bringing to the world. Mark 1:15, “The time is fulfilled, and the Kingdom of God is at hand: repent and believe the gospel.”

I think it is a wonderful statement that if put in today’s spiritual words would tell us to choose that the time of struggle and suffering in the world of the ego is done. It is time to wake up to the Truth that you are a child of God, created in the image of divinity and believe that the Father within is always there to help us. This is the message of Jesus in his ministry.

Jesus also knew that at some point in his ministry, He would be asked to demonstrate this ability to overcome the physical world of illusion and regain his corporeal self as a visible entity.

This is the message of the Easter celebration that Jesus shares with us today. Give up the fears, foibles, and false images of our daily lives and embrace the truth of our divine identities and we are introduced to the Kingdom of God, already within us. Happy Easter and welcome to a new world of love, peace and wholeness.

Repent, give it up, surrender it to God and allow God to do the work. Basically, the message of Easter.

I Love you...
